The Heart of the Wild: Kruger National Park
Hosted & filmed by Wild Acacia Collective
Co-Hosted & guided by Devon Harvey
Your Kruger journey begins in wild, peaceful Marloth Park — zebra on the doorstep, birdsong at sunrise, and a small group of travellers who feel like friends by day two. Marloth itself is an experience: lively bush bars with surprisingly great nightlife, swimming pools to cool off in, amazing restaurants, a local butchery for all your biltong cravings, and a small grocery shop where you can pick up approved animal feed. Because grass grows sparsely and predators are fenced out to protect the wildlife, the municipality encourages responsible feeding to prevent overgrazing — so expect curious kudu, zebra and warthog drifting through the neighbourhood as you explore. Days unfold with twice-daily guided game drives in Kruger, riverside restaurant stops, bush walks, bird hides, and the kind of wildlife moments that live in your bones forever. One afternoon takes you into Lionspruit — Marloth’s private reserve — for a guided game drive and a smoky bush braai of boerewors, grilled chicken, marinated chops, garlic bread, fresh salads and fire-baked potatoes, the perfect blend of adventure and golden-hour magic beneath the trees. Evenings bring sunset braais, star-soaked skies, fireside chats, SANParks sunset or night drives, and free time to unwind, grab a drink, meet locals or simply soak up the rhythm of the bush.

The Untamed Blue: A Journey to Campismo da Cuna
Hosted by Kruger Park Hostel
Co-Hosted & Filmed by Wild Acacia
This is Campismo da Cuna — a raw, untouched stretch of Mozambique’s coastline where time slows, the days glow gold, and the nights spill over with stars. For three days, you’ll trade noise for waves, crowds for empty beaches, and routine for warm Indian Ocean water and dune-top sunsets. This rustic beach-camping journey is operated entirely by Kruger Park Hostel (with only 3 guests per departure), and I’ll be joining you as your Wild Acacia co-host — filming the experience, guiding the atmosphere, and adding that soft, familiar presence throughout. Think barefoot sunrise walks, long swims, exploring tidal pools, collecting shells, simple camp meals, firelight when the weather allows, and sleeping in tents tucked behind the dunes while the ocean breathes just beyond. Included are all tents, sleeping bags, pillows, campsite fees, meals (2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 2 dinners), 4×4 deep-sand access, transport from Marloth/Kruger, and border assistance. You can join before or after the main tour, making this the perfect coastal chapter to reset before the bush — or gently unwind afterwards, leaving Africa with salt on your skin and a story worth telling.
Cliffs, Canyons & Waterfalls: The Panorama Route
Hosted by Kruger Park Hostel
Co-Hosted & filmed by Wild Acacia Collective
The Panorama Route is a day of big horizons and unbelievable scenery, weaving through misty mountains, deep-green valleys and some of South Africa’s most iconic natural landmarks. You’ll wander the walkways at God’s Window, where short forest trails lead to viewpoints that feel like standing at the edge of the world. Explore the swirling rock formations of Bourke’s Luck Potholes, carved by centuries of rushing water, and feel the cool spray rising from Lisbon Falls, one of the region’s tallest and most dramatic waterfalls. Between stops, you’ll have time for photo moments that look straight out of a travel film, and wander through local markets filled with hand-carved wood art, recycled-metal sculptures, beadwork and textiles that directly support community artisans. It’s a refreshing, scenic contrast to the golden bushveld — a day of sky, cliffs, water and pure South African magic.
