MEG
Founder, Lead Host, Social Media
Meg Millar is a South African–born, Canada-based wildlife storyteller who grew up on a game reserve, where rhinos occasionally broke the garden gate and zebra, giraffe, and antelope treated the lawn like a buffet. Raised in a conservation-driven family — led by a father who devoted his life to protecting wild spaces — Meg’s love for nature began long before she could spell it.
Today, she leads every creative and operational heartbeat of Wild Acacia Collective, named after her daughter, Acacia Wild. Meg builds the website, films and edits safari footage, writes educational content, and runs the brand’s social platforms — often between nap schedules, snack negotiations, and toddler adventures. Her mission: connect people to South Africa’s wild magic through ethical storytelling, immersive travel, and community.

WILD ACACIA
DEVON
Field Guide, Tracker, Host
Raised in the Eastern Cape, he is a FGASA trained conservation-driven environmentalist with eyes as sharp as an African fish eagle - Spotting wildlife before you have even had your first sip of coffee. He is the kind of man that would put his life on the line to protect natural spaces and keep wildlife out of harms way.
Devon is always keen on adventure and knows how to keep the vibe positive. He is the braai master, he never keeps you waiting. His safari tours are never boring - even when you think there is nothing to see - he is pointing out birds, reptiles and insects. His binoculars and well-worn bird book are permanent fixtures, and guests quickly learn how much he values the details: the call of a raptor, the tracks of a nocturnal predator, the subtle movements of reptiles and small mammals. Devon makes sure nothing in the bush goes overlooked.
